I need secure folder auto lock on exit. I can't cope with manual lock and exit or wait for 5 minutes.

I what if I give someone my phone to check something and suddenly, the person opens the secure folder apps?

You can't revert system software.

Best thing for you to do is set secure folder to lock on screen off.

Just turn your screen off and on again, then hand them your phone

Yeah it is a little strange they took the option away. Though handing people your phone might be more of a security risk honestly.

If when you hand someone your phone, it's only to use a specific app, you could enable app pinning. It basically locks your phone to only use 1 app. To exit that app the code is required.

I personally wouldn't be comfortable handing someone my phone unlocked unless an app was pinned.

Oh and if I'm being super super accurate, secure folder is only really secure if you use the "hide secure folder" option. If you use the normal lock system, someone with a computer, lots of technical experience and enough time can unlock it. This would never happen to the average person but I feel I should mention it anyway. It'd never be an issue if your phone never left your sight while someone else was using it. In one ui 7 and 6 this was called "encrypt secure folder" I believe.

Hi @GalaxyS24Tbc

Welcome to the community forum.

Roll back has been disabled on latest firmware.

I can see a few workaround for your hypothetical scenario. You could show the person the phone whilst you hold it. Never give your phone to a person that you do not trust. Never lose sight of your phone if given to another person.  The greatest risk for any computing system is users.

Saying that, you could send some feedback requesting the feature back on the Members app. Feedback on the Member's app is meant to be seen by the technical people which could help you more that us. We are just a bunch of Samsung's customers like yourself.

Android in it's design by Google is not meant to be rolled back to previous versions, this is by design. Samsung adhering to this is not a huge scandal and is not officially supported.
