It's been over a year, one ui8 is out but my phone is stuck in one ui7. Not updating via beta program either. My other s24 baught months after this have gotten the updates. Am I missing something? Are some devices not eligible?

Settings, about phone, software information. Android security patch level.

What date does it say? The whole thing

My theory is your updates are broken in some way, happens sometimes. Also of note, one ui 8 isn't out yet on the s24 in the uk

Ui 8 was only released in Korea as it stands, so it will take a while before it reaches everyone as the updates are released in batches. Not everyone gets the update straight away.

Ok. I'm assuming you're in the uk.
Is your sim card from the uk?
Did you buy your phone in the uk from an official seller?

Has the phone ever updated or did it work until may?

Don't remember it updating ever. Phones worked fine, had a GPS issue which required motherboard replacement, but done by Samsung as was under warranty. But working fine since.

Update issues are really tricky. Usually it's causes by a mismatch of location and region things.

Eg, someone buys a phone in say Spain, flies to the uk and lives there, updates break.

But with you that probably isn't the case. While one ui 8 isn't out yet, you are certainly behind on security patches by a few months.

The nuclear option that should 99% work is wiping the phone and reinstalling android using a computer. But that's very extreme.

As of the moment, I can't really think of much else you could try. See if anyone else comes in with an idea

Agreed, but mine hasn't even moved to ui7. Even the beta doesn't show, 7 nor 8 alike
