UI UPDATE :(

Not very happy with update can no longer swipe for apps on app screen. Only option is to scroll

While in app drawer, click the three dots next to the search bar, select "sort," and change it from alphabetical to custom. Your app drawer will change from scroll to swipe of all your apps.

Yes thanks but now I have to alphabetise my apps manually which will take forever

A few have been upset about this!

If I remember correctly, this was done by Android 15—aka Google—aka all Android devices. I know the bar location was changed, but I am not totally certain about the first part. Be sure to submit feedback to the Samsung Members app: Support > Feedback.

An unbelievable change and a major error. Samsung need to fix this and quickly. This fundamental error with the update makes Samsung look stupid.

This is p***ing me off no end! You can get the horizontal app drawer but the apps are out of order. *Hate* this update!

I don't think it's an android thing as there are plenty of custom launchers that don't behave like this. For instance Nova launcher offers both vertical and horizontal app draw in alphabetical order. Googles android launcher only as a vertical app draw with the search bar at the top. Samsung uses it's own custom launcher OneUi Home so it's not governed by android 15.
