I am not receiving any new email notifications from Gmail on my S24 ultra. Sometimes I receive after very long time.
My emails are important to me and I want to be notified immediately. I was using xiaomi phone before and there was no issue with receiving notifications. I am considering to return this phone for which I have to check tons of settings before getting a basic functionality to work.
I have already tried these solutions:
https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/galaxy-s22-series/no-gmail-notifications/m-p/5235725#M17465
Yes, battery optimizations are turned off.
Yes, all notifications are turned on.
Yes, notification categories are turned on.
Yes, show as pop-up is turned on.
Yes, sync is turned on.
Yes, allow background data usage is turned on.
Yes, I have tried to uninstall, clear cache/data, reinstall updates.
Yes, notify for every message inside Gmail app is turned on.
Solved! Go to Solution.

Have it to look like this
If I helped or solved your problem, please like or tick solved.
Have been using phones since 1993, and am self taught.
I offer advice for free, cos I think it'll help, if it doesn't, explain why, I might learn something new too.
Current phone Galaxy S22 Ultra
Previous phones: most S series, Note 2, Samsung Alpha, iPhone 3gs, far too many Nokia's!

Well I don't want to clear the cache. I'd rather use a phone half the price and better functionality than this overpriced brick.
I am just hopeless at this point. Why do I have to repair an app which first came pre-installed and then it was updated through play store.

In the end I had to
1. remove google account
2.uninstall the updates of gmail app
3. re-install gmail app
4. turn on gmail notifications.
5. Add google account.
6. Sign-in in gmail app.
Problem is solved for now. I wish someone from samsung comments here and fix bugs like these.
I transferred the data from my old android phone.

Thank you for your support.
Can you point me to the documentation about transferring data?
In my opinion if it's a known bug, samsung should sort that out on priority. You can see in my post, many people have faced such issues in the past.
