@bawbag93: Are the notifications from the Weather app/widget, or from Google?
If you're seeing frequent weather alerts from Google in the notification panel, then you can adjust your settings by opening the Google app > Tap your profile in the top right > Settings > Notifications > Weather and alerts > Toggle off 'Current conditions', 'Weather forecasts' and 'Public Alerts' to your preference.
If the source of the notifications is the Weather app, please head to Settings > Apps > Weather > Notifications > Notification categories > Significant weather > Toggle this option off.
