I accidentally scratched Laser AF lens with pocket keys and it's a minor one. I want to know if there is any solution to hide or fix it without sending my phone to repair. Scratch is minor but it's ruining the beauty of phone.
Thank you members

Hello 👋 @Hashim204

Welcome to the Samsung Community Forum.

Is the scratch affecting your usage 🤔

I appreciate this is affecting the aesthetics of your phone ,and understand once you've seen something you can't unsee it.

A Samsung Service Centre would invariably charge a fee to repair as its accidental damage.

I wouldn't attempt any Home DIY options.

If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask  😎

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

Hello, Thank you so much for quick reply 🙏.
I have already purchased samsung care+ accidentally damage + theft protection since last year. Do you recommend me to send my phone to samsung repair centre for this thing? I have heard from lot of people that it will void my water resistance and phone warrenty. Also, is there any chance the repair centre would made it more worse?

There are usually third party lens covers available but I really wouldn't recommend those as in my experience the adhesive isn't always as strong and could compromise water resistance as well as affecting warranty. Plus there are risks of leaving debris inside. A repair through Samsung is probably best in my view given its a new phone. Whether they would repair it under Samsung Care Plus I think would depend on whether they view the damage affects the functionality of the phone. But if you try that I think you might need to file a claim on the Care Plus website first. If its repaired by Samsung you should retain the water resistance. I'd advise checking the repair very carefully afterwards, in particular checking there is no dust, marks or debris under the new glass and you're happy with the seal. Good luck and hope they sort it for you quickly
