I keep getting the following message :

Even as i type this.
Now I do have poor service in this location and yesterday I was in an area with no service - is this message appearing for others when they lose signal? Or should I be considering a return?

Yes it does work.

Reading on a link regarding 2 imei numbers a question was posed is it possible the phone is checking the second tray for a sim then finding nothing there comes up with this "Check Sim Card Tray"

It might be worth checking whether SIM one has been blacklisted?

How do you mean.

As all I do is switch off then on and it works for a few days or even a few weeks then comes back and does it 2 or 3 days in a row.

I have a tech guy coming to do a repair but he is not going to find anything. The signal is not the best either unlike my S10 I got a signal with that when my wife's iPhone struggled.

I'm speculating a bit here but could it be that your device has been blacklisted / SIM locked?

Good to know.

Sounds like a device issue with your SIM card tray to me then.

I would book it in for a repair with Samsung under your warranty.

I have been reading on another page about how their phone is switching from sim 1 to sim 2 .
I am wondering if what is happening is when the signal is poor/ non exists it then looks at sim 2 finds nothing there so pops up the message check sim tray.
I have read you can get a P.A.Y.G sim that providing you don't have any add ons like data that runs out And needs a top up you can have this sim in tray 2 that will only initially cost the first top up then providing you send a text every 6 months it remains live with out top up so headed to town tomorrow to get one and see what happens.

Hey there

I require WiFi calling at home due to weak signal in the house (5g outdoors mind 🤣) so appreciate the challenges of weak signal.

If SIM tray 2 is empty, and you don't have an e-sim then what you have described shouldn't be happening.
