Missing samsung video ap.

Hi all been trying and looking but does anyone know where to find the samsung video app? I have it installed but just can't seem to find the app to stick on my home screen.. I have searched for it through the apps section no luck also tried store which shows i have it installed but just no luck finding it.

On the Galaxy gallery, choose a video > three dots top right > open in video player

I know that way, but i would like to have the samsung video app that i can just click on with only the videos. But thanks for your help

Yeah, this is a strange one because when i went into settings and scrolled down the apps, it was there, so i tried to uninstall it and reinstall it but still no joy so im kinda confused on this one. 🫤

I feel like this is some update they integrated because even on my s22ultra it's the same thing I think they just added that app only default in the gallery when viewing the actual video

Oh, really, on s21 ultra that has 6.0, the video player was there. Hope they do sort it out thou.

Oh was it I remember on my older phone before my s22 it was there also and I know I didn't like when they changed it doesn't make sense to do that

Nope, it's missing for me too. It looks like they've removed the app. Even though I've smartswitchd the apps from my old phone to my new one, it didn't bring that app with it.

Videos don't show as an option in my photo gallery either. Also, when I played back a video I shot on my new phone, it stated "play cloud video", which I'm not sure why it's in the cloud, it should be stored locally, and I should be able to play it via the video app.

Wow, that is weird. When i go to settings, then apps and scroll down to video, it's there this is what so confusing if it's shown there as an app then it should be on the normal app section which it ain't 🤔 .. hopefully they can sort it out. Have you tried going to the store and look up the samsung video?
