I have an Onn TV and a Samsung Galaxy s24 Ultra. I have always used Smart View (no app, just use the option on my phones pull down menu) to watch movies from my phone. I tried to download the app but then it requires wifi and I do not have WiFi, so the connection uses Bluetooth (i assume). In the past few months, I have noticed that roughly every 5 minutes, the video and audio quality of the movie glitch, in that the video pauses, or becomes pixelated, and the audio sounds like someone is pushing the pause button, then start, pause, start, etc. Goes on for about 12 seconds then returns to normal. There have been times where this causes the audio to disconnect entirely from the video and then you have to restart completely. Both phone and TV are updated. There's nothing else open on my phone to interfere (as in, it's not being used while the movie is going on). How can I fix it? Thanks!

Welcome to the community forum.
Casting video over Bluetooth (BT) is not ideal due to bandwidth. Digital videos and movies quality have improved by a good country mile, but it means more data per unit of time. BT can do audio with high quality, but it is not the best choice for video. Unfortunately, there is very little can be done about it. BT 5.3 has a theoretical maximum bandwidth of 2mbps.
You might like to try WiFi direct if you TV supports it. You could also try to search for a BT app which can do video casting.
Smart View was superseded by SmartThings. Have you tried it?
