Issue with S24 Ultra screen display - Switch from vivid to natural and nothing happens?

Hi. Just noticed and apologies if already noted in another comment. If you go into settings > display > display mode and switch from vivid to natural you'll notice nothing happens. The screen brightness is the same. If you move any of the sliders in vivid mode nothing happens even in advanced with red green blue sliders. So there is a fault which needs to be fixed and I assume samsung are working on a patch as we speak. @GuzziBoy , yes you are right, there are few threads about it. It seems to be just a software issue which should be fixed with a future firmware update. There is already talks of an imminent firmware upgrade.

My s24 ultra works,not a big difference between the two but definitely changes from vivid to natural and the colour siders also work. I'm not sure why some phones work and others don't.

According to the video, it has to do with a particular firmware version, they show the version on the video.

This has been discussed at length already.

I see a very, very slight difference between the two settings.  

I'm sure the good folks at Samsung will be correcting this shortly.

Just got mine. Same issue. Total ***** and the back of the phone is hot as hell when charging.

I'm on the same sw build. My vivid slider works it changes the colours slightly, but the phone still has this matt, dull, LCD like look to it. Only seems to look better when I look at photos, but the homescreen is dull and for instance the white background on this forum looks dull, it's not vibrant like on my older phones. Also I'm not even someone who uses vivid, I used natural on my ZF3 and that looks more vibrant than my S24U in max vivid mode.
