If I go into GoodLock / LockStar / I can clearly see the place holder for contact information and it reads The various helpful messages will be shown.

I go to Settings / Lock screen and AOD / Edit Lock Screen ... and tap on the Contact Information place holder and can clearly see what I've entered - my name, address, and email address.

(If I long press on the Lock screen, I see a pop up - LockStar running. Not all components in LockStar may be shown here. )

Is this just me or is there an issue with Contact information not displaying on Lock screen??

I can see my Contact information in Lock screen and AOD, in the settings, but it doesn't appear in the actual Lock screen.   I can't grab it and place it in another location, I can only edit the content.

If I go to GoodLock - LockStar it doesn't show up at all.

This added - if I restart my phone, my Contact information shows up on the screen either just before or after I enter my code to get into the phone.  After that, it doesn't appear.

I will assume this is an issue with GoodLock, Lock screen and AOD, or my MS Launcher.

At any rate, I've spent too much time on this.  Thanks for your help and input.

The address displayed is only a partial address and my address is easy enough to find online.  I'm not worried about that.

Go into Lock Star and long press just under your finger print (ensure empty part of screen).

Tap the bar at the bottom (see my screenshot)1722611446811_1722611446802_0.jpg

On my screen when I long press below the fingerprint sensor, my 'helpful messages holder' is not at the bottom, but more towards the middle.  Also, I can't grab it and move it.

In Lock Star, long press on it and move it. Quite a thin bar, so not easy with fat fingers. Move it down to the bottom where those icons are, and shift them further up.

I've come across something which you mentioned in your first post here.

If I enable Extend Lock, the placement of those words (Extend Lock) are at the same location of Contact information.  Where ever I place Contact information (and I can move it in Lockstar), Extend Lock assumes that location as well.

Those two items seem to always share the same screen location.

Turning off Extend Lock, on my phone, doesn't seem to affect being able for me to have Contact information display.

Yes, as explained, LockStar overrides the UI and hides contact info if Extend unlock is active. There's no workaround. You need to disable Extend unlock.

You obviously have contact info as per your 2 screenshots. Suggest you delete everything and start again. I've given you the info how to do it, the rest is up to you. Good luck.1722614028224.jpg1722614028249.jpg

Robin, I have gone through the posts here and tried everything again.  I have everything in Extend Lock disabled.  I restarted my phone and my Contact Information appeared on my Lock screen for several seconds until Extend Unlock reared its ugly head.

To confirm - Extend Unlock is disabled.  If I click on Lock screen & AOD,  Extend Unlock, I see What's Extend Unlock?    I then see GOT IT in the bottom right screen as if I'm seeing this for the first time.  If I go further, On-body detection is Off, Trusted places shows zero places added and Trusted devices shows zero devices added.   It is disabled.

Yet for some reason, Extend Unlock is somehow active.  I've cleared the cache by hooking the phone to my desktop / volume up and power button depressed, etc.

I Googled this issue and see I wrote about this in February of this year (which I had forgotten).  It was fixed until today.  I thank you for your help.  This is a first world problem.  :smiling-face:

I went back and cleared the phone's cache yet again and this time my Contact Information stayed on screen and didn't disappear.

I'll try and remember this for the next time.  Thank you.

Give your device a hard reset too.

With the device powered up, Hold the Volume down button and Power button simultaneously for 10 seconds. The screen will go off. Continue to hold buttons until the device vibrates and the Samsung logo appears. Release buttons. Device will reboot.
