*** UPDATE ***

Odin was able to flash 6.1 firmware back to the device
******

Thought I'd add to the One UI 7 post frenzy😊

How do i downgrade back to 6.1?

I have a s24 that I'd prefer to downgrade, I've tried factory reset (didn't really expect it to work) and via smart switch on desktop but it doesn't detect it for the emergency software recovery, even when phone is in download mode.

Is my best bet to try and flash with stock firmware using Odin? Or am I SOL?

You can apply to be removed from beta and then roll back to 6.1 @keith301733594897638.jpg1733594913563.jpg
I am not employed by Samsung nor do I receive any remuneration as a Samsung Members Star.

My device is an S25 Ultra.

Lots of posts about this already...

Can you see an invite in the Samsung Members App?

If yes, click on it.
If no, likely device not eligible

Forgot to give an update, Odin was able to successfully flash the device with a stock 6.1 firmware.

I too wanted to downgrade to ui 6.  Samsung help told me it wasn't possible. And while I read various workarounds on YouTube, I didn't feel comfortable.  I suppose ui 7 has some positives but I some various issues. Samsung told me that an update of ui 7 is expected in October 2025 so I looked for a different solution to my issues at least until then.

I have numerous problems when I loaded Ui 7 to my new A9 8" tablet and my S24+ phone last month.   In particular  I had problems with App / Widget Icons on both devices.

On the A9 tablet the App/Widget icons were so small they were difficult to read.  All suggested solutions, including "change size of App / widgets" didn't work. Eventually I ditched ui 7 then switched to Nova Launcher, which I now find is a much cleaner, easier to use alternative.

On the S24+ phone, the problem was that the labels  - the words underneath the App/Widget "icons"  disappeared randomly.  A tipster then suggested trying various Grid combinations.  By trial and error  I changed the Grid sizes and the problem is solved.  I guess that something in ui 7 was squashing the Apps/ Widget icons and thus truncated what was being shown on the Home screen and subsequent screens - especially when I'd grouped similar types of App icons with a Folder - like organising Netflix and You Tube within a Folder I called "Films Videos."

Samsung Help didn't help. I was promised responses that didn't arrive.
