HELP - S24 FE - bluetooth speaker far too loud even on lowest volume setting

My bluetooth speaker goes from zero to being far too loud even on the lowest volume setting. Does anyone know a fix for this? Some of the other Samsung phones have an option to 'Disable absolute volume' listed in Developer Options but I cant find this on the S24 FE. Thanks in advance for any help as this is driving me nuts :smiling-face:

Hi @Mac701 and may I extend a Warm Welcome to the Samsung Community Forum 👋

This may / may not help > Press the volume rocker up and press the 3 little dots at the sop of the slider.

Press the Cog then the 3 little dots in the top Rh Corner.

The Media Volume Limit is there.

In regards to the Developer Options the option you mention is on my Samsung Galaxy s²⁴ Ultra .

If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask  😎

Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

That was a huge help.

Your screenshot showed that I was in developer settings rather than developer options!

Once in the correct menu I was able to toggle on Disable Absolute Volume and thats the issue fixed completely. I can now set a volume on my bluetooth speaker and the phone volume keys just control it within that range. For anyone else reading this please make sure to restart your phone for the changes to take effect.

Thanks again :thumbs-up-sign-emoji-modifier-fitzpatrick-type:

Thanks it's there in the s24fe too, I was just looking in the wrong place 😁
Can I ask what you think of the s23fe overall?

It's quite a good phone. Same processor and main camera as the S23. Bezels are a bit bigger around the screen but other than that I don't really have any complaints. I think it's a good compromise sitting between the A series and S series phones. Especially if you can get it for a good price.
