Only option given is to save to Samsung Pass, ignoring preferred service setting.  Even if I uninstall Samsung Pass, creating a Passkey re-installs it!

I contacted Samsung tech support and their response was that the S24 does not support third party password managers for Samsung Account login.  Bit hard to swallow as my third party password manager handles logging in to other sites and apps (both passkeys and passwords) without issue. It is however borne out by the evidence.

Press create passkey, in the fingerprint/code menu, press the blue "save another way" button, press google password manager.

The default is always samsung as samsung is more secure and you have a samsung phone. But you're always free to pick google in the menu

There is no 'save another way' button, only the fingrrprint sensor, which, if presssed saves the passkey to Samsung Pass

Should look like this. I can't screenshot it so this is the next best thing. If you don't see it, you might not have the google password manager setup properly OuJzV2aUjG.jpg

Thanks for the image.  I'm not looking to save to Google but to a third party password manager which is set as my default for passwords, passkeys and autofill

If your password manager isn't appearing in that more menu, I'm kinda out of ideas

I don't see a 'more' menu. Thanks for your time and interest, guess it's one for Samsung tech support
