Hi All,

I've got an issue with the Gemini app and google services, please have a look at the description below and let me know if anyone experienced similar issues and what was the solution.

A few days ago the google services crashed and the app asked to clear the cache. Which I did. since then I'm unable to use the Google Gemini app. I'm just unable to open it. I've tried to uninstall the updates ( I unable to fully uninstall the app, look slike it was part fot the phone built in software). I did force to stop the app but it still doesn't not respond. Also, from the settings menu and google services, I'm unable to open the google assist, voice and search option. All the other work but this one not. I did reboot phone several times but it doesn't improve the situation. With Gemini not responding I cannot use the google service like search chat and so on

Thanks.

Try wipe phone cache partition
Power off the device.
•  a USB-C cable to a PC or another device.
• Hold Volume Up + Side Button until Recovery Menu appears.
• Select Wipe cache partition/ Confirm Reboot system.

No error or any other notification, just when press on gemini it does nothing. All the other apps work as always.
Apart from gemini app, i've lost assistant and google search from the print screen feature (bottom bar). As I already mentioned, in the settings menu -> google services, I'm unable to open the 'google assist, voice and search' option. I doesn't respond when I click on it. All the other options work.

If the Google services settings are not functioning properly, this could be a severe issue. I would highly recommend backing up all your phones data and files you wish to keep or need. Be sure to include information for your connected accounts and things you will need regularly. I would then recommend to factory reset your device, but be warned if the issue is a fundamental hardware fault of some kind, this may result in an inoperable device, hence the backup of all your data. If it's simply just a software glitch, hopefully the reset should help resolve things.

Thank, I thought about a full reset, but I just wanted to delay and avoid it as much as possible until I check all other options.
I'm waiting for the official Samsung feedback before making my next move.

I did update the software to One UI 8/Android 16 as a beta tester yesterday to see if that will help, but the same problem still exists.
