Screen unresponsive after UI7 update

I am not sure if anyone else is experiencing this, or this may be the discovered bug why the update was pulled. I updated last week to android 15, phone is on T-Mobile. For the most part the phone seems fine, but since the update the screen randomly freezes. I am not sure what triggers it, but when it happens the navigation buttons don't respond to any press along with the rest of the screen. I am able to swipe down both notification and settings, but nothing responds to touch. The power button also still works and brings up the power menu. Initially, when updated the power button is remapped to Gemini, I have since change it back. 

Anyway, to get my phone working again, I have to hold the volume up and power for around 10 seconds until it restarts. Is anyone else experiencing this ?

Can you imagine they took years to release this software so that users will have no complains at all. After all this waiting, this is what we get! Samsung phones aren't worth anything close to what we are paying for them. Buy oneplus, pixel or other phones. Avoid Samsung!

@c876 when I experienced this it was because there were updates that needed doing. Apart from checking the OS updates, I would ensure that all app updates are done, particularly the Google play services app and any in the Samsung app stores.

Can't you tell how mad people are at Samsung? I guess they've stopped caring about what consumers think.

Who are "people"?! There are usually a very vocal few who aren't satisfied and then there are the millions who are. I am sure they care about their consumers, but Samsung are huge, and have very many fingers in very many pies, kind of entitled to think just because you have one of their products, you should have a bespoke customer experience! Of course the irony here is that for users of their phones, the experience is actually going to be as bespoke as an individual can get using a product from a huge global company!

I look forward to new updates, but it's not a dealbreaker for me if it's late. This is also true for maybe majority of consumers, especially older persons. They buy Samsung because it is a brand they know and trust. I consider pixel once but not really interested.

I did those too, the same day. quite a few core samsung apps got updated. Hopefully there will be a fix soon

Ah that's a shame, fingers crossed it gets sorted. The only other thing I can think of is the partition cache and clearing that.
