@Robin999 you could if you wish also try Safe Mode. 

Safe Mode  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-to-start-my-galaxy-device-in-safe-mode/ turns off downloaded apps and themes etc which may highlight an app or theme that's causing conflict. Alternatively long press the power off button and then long hold on Turn Off to get to Safe Mode.

Hi, there's probably a myriad of apps out there that claim to optimize device performance, but I only really use Good Guardians.

I've had the Good Guardians app installed on various devices for years after reading many good reviews. However, In all that time, I've never had to put it to the test because I've never really suffered from slow downs or lag on any of my devices (S23U, Tab S8U, Tab S9U). The only time I religiously use the App Booster feature is immediately after a major software update. Does it work? Well, it certainly scans all my apps. Do I see a noticeable boost in performance? Jury's still out on that one. Have you tried it yet? Did you notice anything?
