Nooo can't believe it. No emergency satellite ability on the new Samsung s24 ultra. Going away in July and was going to upgrade from my s23 ultra. Apple have it. Gutted.

Samsung claim they isn't the call for it. Even Google pixel is expected to feature it as well as Apple does already.

Only thing that stopped me upgrading. Needed it for wild camping.

All the respected reviews say so. Decided to pull it at last minute apparently.

More likely to be in risk to kick the bucket at home than in some remote area that you desperately need satellite calling it's not that deep of a feature a gimmick at most 🤣

Unbelievable, you pay a fortune for the phone and don't get satellite communication

Hardly a gimmick. It's a feature I'd be willing to pay hundreds of dollars extra to have included. I currently own a Garmin InReach mini which I paid over $300 for, and the service costs me upwards of $300 annually. My Inreach was valuable many times when traveling across the rural western states. There are many areas where a hospital is hours away at minimum in a vehicle. Now compound that with deep back country hikes where it could be days to get back to civilization on foot. This function could easily save your life. Helicopter rescues have saved many people in the middle of nowhere.
