So, steps are;
- connect USB cable / device
- power off handset normally
- hold power and volume up until Samsung logo (handset vibrates).
- release buttons and handset will enter Recovery mode.
- navigate to Wipe Cache using volume up / down key.

2. Connect To Computer , Press and hold the Volume Up key and then press and hold the Power key
3. When the Android logo displays, release both keys.
4. Wait until the android system recovery menu options appear.
5. Press the Volume down key several times to highlight wipe cache partition.
6. Press Power key to select.
7. Press the Volume down key to highlight yes, them and press the Power key to select.
8. When the wipe cache partition is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.
9. Press the Power key to restart the device.
You can also Repair apps via the Recovery Menu.
My device is an S25 Ultra.

Laptop or desktop is very quick, took me just a couple of minutes yesterday.
Once the user has started their laptop, plugged USBC cable in to laptop and device, followed the above to get to Recovery Mode then can disconnect from laptop. I think you only need laptop turned on, not necessarily signed in.
My device is an S25 Ultra.

No, a phone will do. I updated the two S24 Ultra and cleared the cache partition using each other. There was no need for a computer. It is the same with the S22 Ultra, A52s etc. It will work with any USB C phone.

I have done it with 2 S24 ultra and I have done it with previous phones as well. It has been always USB C to USB C.

It has been a requirement to connect to computer/another Device to wipe the cache partition (certainly on premium devices) since Android 11.
