Battery draining faster after software update

Hello has anyone else experience faster battery drainage after updating one UI 7 on your S24 ultra and if you have experience the same thing has anyone been able to sort out the issue and if yes what have you done

I tried to downgrade using smart switch. It doesn't let me. If on beta it would. But not official 7.0 update. And my battery still draining fast.

ive had friends tried that and didn't work its the ui 7 nothing we can do for s 22u to now 25 u we got f.cked to hell with samsuck

Thanks for the tip... does this execution wipe out all the data on the phone and require a backup beforehand?

Hi All, Definitely a UI7issue.
my s25 needed a charge after 2 days at least

Soon as the update installed the battery is drained and been charging twice a day at least. killing the battery cells

dont waste your time it doesn't work or even a factory wipe and reset.. 4 get it..

Have noticed my phone drains alot farater now on S23 Ultra

Surely they will fix this, I can't be expected to carry a power bank with me eevery day..

I watched 1 30 min episode on the tube and scrolled Facebook etc for about 20 mins and by 3pm my phone was dead

Hi! Welcome to the Samsung Members community!

I know it's a generic response, but after an update, note there is a calibration phase for the battery. It should improve in about 12 days.

As @johnz237 has said, on One UI7 your device will go into the learning phase again.

Feedback on this Forum indicates after half a dozen charges battery life improves and settles 😊
