Battery draining faster after software update

Hello has anyone else experience faster battery drainage after updating one UI 7 on your S24 ultra and if you have experience the same thing has anyone been able to sort out the issue and if yes what have you done

Yes battery drain is a huge problem, I ran the beta version and was assured the full release would not be affected. Sadly it is. I'm loosing about 5-6 hours of battery a day with no change in usage.

As of yet I haven't noticed any abnormal power drain since updating my S23U. It is early days though, only updated yesterday.

Hi and welcome.

Please consider regular checking for app updates in both. Samsung and Google store.

Also, make sure there are no sync errors under your accounts.

Settings> Accounts and Backup > Manage Accounts and check individual accounts and press Sync.

It would also help if you could post your battery stats with apps used to see if any app is the culprit.

I once had issues of battery drain because the battery the Bluetooth was trying to keep searching for a pair buds I had stopped using.

So there could be different reasons.

dont waste your time it doesn't work or even a factory wipe and reset.. 4 get it..

You are certainly not imagining things. I am having the same issue with having to charge my phone several times a day. Good luck getting Samsung to address this issue. They're more concerned with pushing awful updates that try to copy iOS.

Made sure all software and apps from galaxy store & Google play store are updated

I've Uninstalled all my games. Also all apps that aren't needed. 

Cleared system cache from power off menu.

Checked all settings.

Checked to see if any apps are using excessive battery or are crashing. Also limited background activity.

Lowered screen brightness (much lower than what I was using before the busted ONE UI7 update.

Etc.

Surely they will fix this, I can't be expected to carry a power bank with me eevery day..

I watched 1 30 min episode on the tube and scrolled Facebook etc for about 20 mins and by 3pm my phone was dead

Anyone else?

I know it's a generic response, but after an update, note there is a calibration phase for the battery. It should improve in about 12 days.
