I've just got the update for my 24 ultra. I always turn my phone off at night, but now have a problem, when pressing the button to do this it starts the assistant. Is there any way to change this as I never use the assistant. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

Hey there
To turn your device off, swipe down from the top to access the Quick Access Menu and select the off button (looks like the standby icon).

I'd kinda advise not turning the phone off overnight as it updates and does device maintenance over night. So during the day it's fast and updated, at night it cleans and maintains itself.
No real harm in it so don't worry. That's just when android usually does maintenance jobs and updates

Thanks for that I'm a very light sleeper always have the phone with me even if it's off. It would wake me even if I only have it on vibration.
I could turn that off too I suppose. It's just something I've always done.

You could use the sleep routine/mode. For me, set times are sleep time. My phone totally mutes during sleep. If you have a smart watch, it can even auto detect when you go to sleep

I will definitely try that. Unfortunately I have a samsung watch and the battery definitely wouldn't last all night.
