Hi,

I'm using a Samsung S24+ and I have recently upgraded to Android 15 ONE UI 7.0. I'm using my dual physical sim and after the upgrade I lost the roaming of my second sim.

I have tried restarting my phone several times but still unable to use roaming on my sim.

I manage to resolve my issue. I have set the operator manually instead of automatic and roaming is working now.

Lost roaming, how does it manifest. Did you try swapping sims places

No I didn't try swapping the sim as I've never had this issue before. Both sims where working perfectly fine before the upgrade.

Should I swap and will this solve the issue?

I am having an issue that seems like the sim manager is malfunctioning on my S24 Plus. I was able to switch between physical and eSim with no issues having dual sim working. But suddenly yesterday dual sim functionality stopped working. Now I am stuck on with two unusable esims and unable to switch to using the physica sim card. Eventrying to remove the esims does not work.

The error that comes up is "Couldn't connect with SIM. Try again later."

The problem does not seem to be carrier related. I tried clearing the phone cache. Restarting. Removing sims, flight mode. Even deleting the esims. Nothing is working. Last resort is to do factory reset but a post that I found on Redit indicated that that also didn't fix the problem.

Now I'm resorting back to my trusy old S20 until Samsung hopfully comes up with a merical update or fix.

I contacted Samsung support. I was then refered to a repair centre.

I am using my S20 again now with now issues. The sim cards are working like they should.

I did a factory reset as well last night on the S24+ and it didn't fix anything, infact it disabled more functionality regarding the sim settings. The eSims are still installed, when I dail the number it rings and works. This is a very strainge problem that is not making much sense.

I have the same physical sims and esim combination in my S20 and it is working perfectly fine.
