Battery draining faster after software update

Hello has anyone else experience faster battery drainage after updating one UI 7 on your S24 ultra and if you have experience the same thing has anyone been able to sort out the issue and if yes what have you done

It's like that with every os upgrades. The apps you use often don't get updated to the latest os version. It's why you should regularly check if there are any updates available on the Play store and Galaxy store.

I find restarts and clear cache helps alot

its does but once after an hour its back to the way it was it just clears up storage on mine but I have a 1 tb storage factory unlocked s 24 ultra so storage is not an issue I want a clear catch to clear bugs and glitches but great post👍

I agree with you now im a the breaking point to just get used to it ui 7 ya its ehhh but we have devices that cost a lot of money all we can do is just get used to it. but hard to do so.. my s 24 ultra after 3 weeks if just starting to stabilize to it for how long b4 something else pops up lol maybe a may update security patch will fix things I hope..

On my S24 Plus, the battery is draining so fast since the update.  I would rather go back to One UI 6, as I could go a couple of days without a charge.  Now I don't get through a day.  Such a downgrade!

ya, my is S23 , after update 2 days ago, i found battery drain 1 percent in 1 minute while i scrolling the phone too check what's new features on new UI. This early morning battery life is 86 percent, didn't turn on WIFI and Mobile Data, 9:30 am turn on WIFI, but not surfing only check what's new features, battery drop while using maybe less than 8 min , then put down the phone , now 12:37 noon, battery life is drop to 61 percent. Abnormol, right

I just barely got the new UI7 update a few days ago. And yeah, I can attest to the battery drain issue. I went from ending my day with just around 45% remaining to way less. Just yesterday I was busy all day. I unplugged my phone at 9am with 100% battery. By 3pm it was at 20%. I actively used my phone for about 40 minutes during that 6hr window. Mind you, I have my battery saver turned on and my brightness kept pretty low at all times. This new update is absolutely KILLING my battery. I hope Samsung can push out a new update to fix this issue soon.

I have the same issue after One UI 7 update. 
Previously I had ~5h SOT and now I can barely reach 3h SOT with 13h lifetime estimation after fully charged. 
PS: my wife S23+ has no issues after One UI 7 update.
