Just to say that some of these are fixable with a few setting changes. But I think you are not necessarily looking for solution. But more to complain about the update.

@barbelgod you can combine Notifications and quite settings quite easily. Swipe down from the top right hand side, tap the pencil icon,Panel Setttings and change to Together.

Really, that is your response? He has every right to complain, a great update does not make a product worse. The 7 update is a mess in a lot of ways, spend 5 minutes searching, he is not the only one complaining. If you are not part of the solution you are part of the problem. Clearly with your write him off attitude, You are part of the problem.
