I recently switched from an S21+ to an S24+. I'm having an issue where every time I connect any Bluetooth device (Galaxy earbuds, Bose headphones, Android Auto), it goes to call audio for several seconds before fixing itself.
If I connect Bluetooth headphones to my phone, the media audio (like an audiobook or YouTube video) comes out as call audio first and the sound is a little tinny, like a phone call. When I adjust the volume, the overlay shows that it's call volume I'm changing (the phone icon with the Bluetooth icon) instead of the Bluetooth icon by itself.
The same thing happens with Android Auto. When I connect my phone to the car with a cable, I get the notification on my dash that there's an incoming call, and when I go to the call screen on my car dash, it shows that I'm in a call. I'm able to hang up on that screen and it goes back to normal, but it's been maddening to have to make adjustments and reconnect/disconnect Bluetooth to fix it when it doesn't fix itself. This doesn't happen every single time, but it does happen more often than not. I'm not sure if there is a permission somewhere in my phone that triggers the call feature every time I connect Bluetooth, or if it's potentially an OS issue. Is anyone else seeing this happen?
