Just wondering if anyone else is having problems connecting to Bluetooth devices where a code is required.

Since the last update I cannot connect my new smart watch via LE Bluetooth. It finds the device goes through the connection process and when the box pops up for a code, it disappears immediately not allowing to enter a code hence Bluetooth connection fails. I have cleared system cache, Bluetooth cache uninstalled and reinstalled the watch app and reset the watch.

I haven't reset the WiFi and Bluetooth yet as it deletes all your saved devices and WiFi connections, which is a major headache. Why can Samsung not deliver software updates that don't come with one major headache or another

I have also been monitoring mobile network speed and WiFi speeds by running the same tests side by side with my A54 5g and the S24 always runs slower despite using the same connection to the same servers

I won't be in a rush for another samsung flagship phone but I would like to get this one to have at least one problem free period. The most consistent problem is network connections, Internet speed and problems loading websites and online content etc

I'm sure some won't have experienced any problems but it would be very much appreciated if anyone has found a way of resolving poor network and connection problems

Oh by the way Samsung contacts app has once again list all of my contacts and as I couldn't resolve it have exchanged it for Google contacts app and have got my contacts back for now

Please Samsung sort out your updates, if I'm forced to replace this phone it won't be another Samsung

I've used Samsung phones from the S6 and had no problems until the S20 onwards which have all been maiden with an ongoing stream of different issues. The worst of all being the S22 when first released, which I believe should be better now

I'm probably going to have to reset the Bluetooth and WiFi again and have the nightmare of re connecting all my devices with the added burden of explaining to all my family and friends why I need their WiFi password yet again due to my Samsung phone being so inconsistent and unreliable. Not a very good way of promoting the brand

This could explain a preference for iphones as business phones so employees and business owners can spend time on the job and not constantly maintaining an unreliable device

End of rant

Well I have just rest the Bluetooth and WiFi settings and the phone is doing exactly the same so will not allow the new watch to be connected. I'll try to connect it to my other phone in the hope its just this S24 Ultra phone and not the last update

Further update. I have just successfully connected my watch to my A54 5g without a hitch. As I suspected it is the S24 that has yet another bug. Admittedly the A54 5g is slower than the S24 Ultra and has less functions. But it is far more stable and can be relied on better as well as a faster Internet connection and more stable device Bluetooth connectivity. So I'll wait for the next update and hope the S24 Ultra 1tb improves and will become able to connect my new watch

Hi @PaulC59

It would be beneficial to submit your feedback also via your Samsung Members App too.

Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

I just had this same issue pop up which S24 and samsung tablet where wifi upload speed was zero, rendering some apps unusable. Lots of googling, tried everything possoble....nothing.....and finally found a fix. Turned out to be as simple as changing my wifi settings. All I changed was ipv6 setting from 'auto detect' to ' Auto configuration SLAAC/DHCHv6'....whatever that means. Anyway, fixed it!!
My laptop was fine before and also fine now, was only limited to samsung devices
