Are you going to buy the S25 Ultra?

I have a feeling that the next upgrade is going to be very minor based on the rumours. The camera will only get an ultra wide update, the rest exactly the same. I might skip the S25 ultra.

Yes the new snapdragon 8 elite is great but I want to see more camera upgrades. They have been using the same camera sensor for the past couple of years now. 

Not intrested in 200mp it doesn't make a difference, it's all about the sensor size. 

The battery has been the same 5000ma for the past couple of years too when there are others who are doing atleast 6000ma. 

Let's hope Samsung gives more upgrades rather than giving the bare minimum.

These iterative updates are totally normalised now - I wouldn't get bogged down in the battery size, efficiency is just as important and the SDElite is supposed to be v efficient.

I do actually think the rumours suggest an updated 200mp sensor, but again new SoC's make a difference (think about previous pixel phones that had the same hardware for years, but the software kept getting better and better)

Be good to have a higher resolution ultra wide, shame the rumours suggest the screen will be the same as S24 series, not the latest tech.

Yeah I heard about how Samsung are not going with the new m14 oled display which both Apple and pixels are using.

It's really strange because Samsung are KNOWN for their displays and they always brag about having the best/ brightest displays compared to the competition so it's going to be interesting to see how Samsung are going to promote their display for the s25

I'll make my decision once the Samsung Unpacked Event has happened , and we then know more. 

Along with watching YouTube Reviews and getting hands on. 

For now the Samsung Galaxy s²⁴ Ultra pretty much meets my wants and needs.

I've said it before, it's turned into a bit of a hobby for me at this point - and by that I mean I certainly don't "need" a new phone, I really enjoy the latest tech.

I don't see any point getting a S25 i have an S23 Ultra and is still a great phone I'll only replace my phone when the software is no longer supported or the battery deteriorates to such a level that I constantly need to charge it. Samsung make such small upgrades you wouldn't notice it

I will make a decision nearer the time, though do not have a current S24 Device.  The sensor, software and display will be factors along with the perceived generalk impression.
