Using the Samsung Phone App (not the Google one)
Dial *#9900# then scroll down to battery stats reset. Click then restart your phone.
Turn Auto Blocker back on
Credits to @Moiramon and @lminvti for this information from previous threads.

Does anyone know of a good place to leave negative reviews about this software update and Samsung's aweful customer service and communication? Samsung obviously needs extraordinary motivation to exert the bare minimum of acceptable effort to explain to us why our phones' battery life has plummeted and when they will fix it.

Hello.
After the latest update to One UI 7, my phone's battery life has gotten significantly worse. Charging is slower now, and the “super fast charging” option is just gone.
The phone also overheats way more than before, and overall everything feels laggier.
How can I uninstall this update? Will doing so mess up my phone even more?
Is Samsung even working on a fix?
How can a company this big roll out such garbage? It's honestly baffling.
And don’t even get me started on the UI. Why do they insist on copying every dumb idea from Apple? The app drawer was perfectly fine. Now it scrolls vertically. Before, I could tap on the dots and quickly get close to the app I was looking for.
Anyway, enough ranting.
Does anyone know of a solution or workaround for this One UI 7 mess?

@MarkHemig I have edited out the two uses of the incredibly inappropriate word you deemed necessary to use in your post. I am going to politely request that you refrain from using it in all future posts.
I have also moved your thread into this one, as there are plenty of tips on how to help with your battery issue. Many thanks.

I installed the update yesterday. I have an s24 ultra. After the update i didn't change anything. Just restarted the device and went to bed. This morning i lost about 50% of my battery overnight. Absolutely not normal. I'm really very disappointed and have used the S line phones since the s6 but this is going to be my last phone from Samsung if they don't fix this asap. I wonder what the people who developed this abismal update had in their mind. I have a business myself and if i treat my customers on a bad product and no testing at all they kick my butt until kingdom come.. Unbelievable how bad big companies perform nowadays with absolutely no testing from their part at all. They use the customer base as a testing platform obviously which is utterly frustrating. I can only encourage people to keep knocking on Samsung's door and influence people to stay away from this kind of companies. I'm afraid the only thing they listen to is when people massively quit buying their products.

Or you could back it up and it does it itself?

There is an easy fox to this. Simply go on YouTube and search for a video called "Swap out the Vertical App Drawer". It shows you step by step how to revert to the old app drawer.
