Battery draining faster after software update

Hello has anyone else experience faster battery drainage after updating one UI 7 on your S24 ultra and if you have experience the same thing has anyone been able to sort out the issue and if yes what have you done

I'm in the same boat 😰😰

I noticed my location keep appearing on the top. So I turn off my location before I go to bed. I'm only lost 4% overnight. With location on I lost 40% of battery over night. So you guy can try it for test. I know we need location service just a test.

In my case, the phone battery drained out pretty fast after the update,  tried changing chargers, cables, reboots, nothing worked. The phone charging port is not working now with normal phone chargers (slow, fast, super fast) but somehow is getting charged from the laptop while connected. I noticed this as i was working on backing up the data to my laptop. Called up T-Mobile and nothing can be done, fortunately, still in warranty and will get a replacement. But now I worry, as soon as i get the replacement and boot it up, it is going to update to the new UI and i might be back to the same place. Is anyone else facing such issues and in case you have found any solution.

Yes I have had the same after the update. Never had my phone die in a day before

It's strange as my s24u has been absolutely fine since one ui7, and I have never cleared the cache.

Not only is the battery drain huge, it takes hours to charge the phone. Fast charging is not working any more. After 4 hours still only 50%. It's awful.

At what point do you feel samsung will help us out on this issue? I'm ready to bin my s22 and go elsewhere! 22+ pages of the same problem and samsung doesn't notice? Shame on them!

get an iPhone they are so much better samsung is so dated and put features on a update than say nope you can't use that unless you buy the newest f.ck samsung

All my issues have been fixed with a fresh install come on you can't be serious about an iPhone the only people that use iPhones are 3 year olds and 80 year olds with dementia because it's for simple minded people not to mention it's a garbage company let's see a few points 

Type c never got till 2023 

Finally got 120 hertz panel and 2021 

Not to mention low quality specs leasing their customers without rageous pricing for accessories basically holding them by gunpoint for repairs or getting parts I literally have one iPhone in my house that's a 14 pro Max and my daughter used to use before she got a 25 ultra and that 14 promax now is literally used as my coaster for my drink thank you for your reply it's always nice for someone that uses an iPhone to come into a chat of a company that makes actual phones for adults

I'm also having issue after the upgrade to one ui 7.0 on my S24+. Fully charged leaving it on standby and light usage eats up 50% of my juice. Also went to sleep with 24% with DND on the battery went dead at 5am.
