Battery draining faster after software update

Hello has anyone else experience faster battery drainage after updating one UI 7 on your S24 ultra and if you have experience the same thing has anyone been able to sort out the issue and if yes what have you done

Hi, @Mozzarella. I appreciate your perspective here. Wiping the cache partition is not an obligatory step after performing a software update, but it tends to fall under the "good practice" category and is certainly worthwhile doing this if the phone is not performing as expected after the software update.

Two other useful steps are:

1) Ensuring that all apps are fully updated.

2) Utilising the Good Guardians app, and running Galaxy App Booster after your phone restarts post-software update installation:

Let your battery drain fully! Then charge it from 0 to 100! That worked for me!

So since the 7ui update on my S24 Ultra UK snapdragon variant my battery will only get me to 3/4 through the day before needing to charge. It used to easily get me through the whole day. Ive wiped the cache partition it didn't help, so I did a factory reset. Again this hasn't helped . Samsung needs to address this now known issue

I've received the Samsung update for my S24 

It didn't just pop up that there was a new update, I had to manually install it but now my battery is draining super fast ! 

Apart from that everything looks smooth and runs ok , 

I know the S23 ultra is having battery draining issues aswell, 

I just hope Samsung iron out these problems in the near future !
