It sounds frustrating to see your battery life drop after the update, especially when you had things working smoothly before, @OOFXBOTKA . Since you’ve got Life360 and a Galaxy Watch 4 Classic connected, that could be drawing more power, especially after a software update, which sometimes alters how background apps behave or optimises power usage differently.
Here are a few things you could try:
- Clear Cache: After a software update, some cached data can affect performance. Try clearing the cache partition (you can find this option in recovery mode).
- Check Battery Usage: Go into your battery settings and check which apps are using the most power. Maybe one of them is behaving abnormally after the update.
- Optimise Settings: You could try optimising your settings for battery life, like turning off high-refresh-rate display or enabling power-saving modes when you’re not using the phone.
- Update apps: Make sure all your apps, including Life360 and any other relevant apps, are updated. Sometimes they need to update to be more compatible with the latest OS changes.
- Reboot: A simple restart after the update can help sometimes with clearing out processes that may be running unexpectedly in the background.

@OOFXBOTKA If unclear how to wipe cache partition follow these steps:
1. Turn off the device.
2. Connect To Computer , other Device or TV USB, Press and hold the Volume Up key and then press and hold the Power key
3. When the Android logo displays, release both keys.
4. Wait until the Android system recovery menu options appear.
5. Press the Volume down key several times to highlight wipe cache partition.
6. Press Power key to select.
7. Press the Volume down key to highlight yes, them and press the Power key to select.
8. When the wipe cache partition is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.
9. Press the Power key to restart the device.
Try all the other Troubleshooting which may well improve the Battery life, a Factory Reset would be a last resort but ensure your Data is backed up before contemplating this step.

Hi i tried every possible battery optimization there is. There is a problem with one ui 6 home launcher is consumes 3-4 times more battery so thats why all the s24ultras and the s22 ultras are experiencing the same issues. Idk how to fix this
