Hi, I've looked through the internet to find the answer to THAT SPECIFIC issue but for some reason I can't find anything.
I have Galaxy buds 3 pro and when I try to send voice messages on any app while I'm using them, the sound of my voice is recorded through the phone's microphone and not the buds'.
I really do not know if during calls I have the same issue but I've tested it here and there and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't work.
I've been on permissions, everything only app that I found "use bluetooth mic when possible" was the voice recorder and that's it.
I've also tested the health of the buds in the wearable app and during that it works just fine which makes me extra annoyed not knowing why in everything else it does not.
Camera for some odd reason does use the buds' mic if anyone is curious.

Yeah if that's the case as much as I adore these buds if I knew this was A THING It would be a MASSIVE deal breaker cause 99% of the apps I use apparently can't use the mic.

This is basically app specific, most apps don't have any coding to allow them to detect or use the mics in the earbuds. If it does there should be an option in app. The mics in the earbuds does work with the camera app to capture 360 degree sound. You could try using the receiver plugged into your USB C port and a Bluetooth mic wirelessly connected with that and see if that works?
