Apple vs Samsung Question.

OK so I'm a Samsung guy all my life. Android for life but recently I have come to appreciate and give credit to where it's due. Apple seems to always be a little step above when it comes to both phones having the same features and I'm basing this on reviews and comparisons I see from multiple sources

For example CAMERAS. Apple seems to always win in normal shots and video. This seems to always be the case 

Portrait video.. Both have it. Apple seems to always have better edge detection and has more accurate colours. 

Supersteady mode. Apples ACTION mode is more stable than Samsungs

Transitions in normal ui and cameras.. Apple always seems to have smoother scrolling and app opening and even the changing the camera lenses. Samsung still struggles with this. 

When it comes to the actual processor. Apple seems to always be miles ahead in terms of benchmarks. Even now the s24 ultra is just about beating Apple's a17 bionic chip and that's a year behind. 

Is there anything that Samsung does BETTER than Apple in terms of features?

Whenever there is a NEW feature. Who has done it better historically Apple or Samsung? 

If Apple brings 4k 120fps do you think it will look better than Samsungs 

You best believe Apple will also bring AI features in their next phone. Will it be better than Samsung? 

If Apple brings in 100x zoom x would it better than Samsungs?

I have had an urge to try all the hype about apple. But never get around getting. One.

I come from phones like Nokia and windows phones. So it's been about the cameras for me.

The only apple product I ever had was an iPod touch.

The S21 ultra is what blew my mind as I could have a macro to crazy zoom in a phone.
I kinda retired my Nikon camera and lenses.

The weight between a phone and a whole gear of camera and lenses was a world of differences. 0

Samsung hardware is usually far superior to Apple, in fact I believe that a lot of hardware that is used to power iphones such as chips, batteries and screens etc are made by samsung and I think other companies such as Sony make hardware for iphones etc

Where I think Apple have an edge over Samsung and other Android suppliers is software as they only need one version across their devices whereas Android needs to accommodate a wide variety of manufacturers and devices before even considering app development etc

I personally prefer Android over IOS not just because of flexibility and more emphasis on open source etc I don't like the level of control Apple gives itself over what you can do and what you can buy

E.g ask one of your friends to record a personal audio file or video file on their iPhone and send it to you via Bluetooth 😉 and see the lengths you have to go to to do it. Then try the same task with an Android

Up to now Samsung was way in front of picture quality, than apple (you can only compare if you upload the photos on pc) but with the S24 ultra Samsung gone backwards. For the moment I won't recommend to anyone to buy the S24 Ultra. You can wait to see if Samsung fix the issues .s10,S21, s22,S23 much better quality on photos and videos

After being a sincere Samsung devotee, I have to say me last Samsung experience was actualy quite bad. GOt a Galaxy Flip6 that broke within a year. No service centers near me so it will require me to spend almost $400 to fix it and I will be without a phone for two weeks?   I am at a serious crossroads, even as much as I detest Apple.   

To the person that posted "we all win"  I would remind them that the marketing design to replace our phone every  or every other year is an environmental disaster. When the Congo Gorillas go extinct, we can all take credit as the main source of cobalt is the congo where they kill the Gorillas as bush-meat. I want my phone to last AT LEAST 5 years, not the <1 I got from my flip phone.
