Been using my S22U for wireless android auto for about a year with only the occasional software crash which is fine.
Set up the S24U today and I can't get through a full song without audio lagging and stuttering.
Anything I can try to sort this issue? Anyone had similar?

So far this seems to work well. I have had the occasional blip but no more than 20 seconds all week. It's much more usable now. I've even disabled the routine to turn Bluetooth off (it's needed for calls anyway) and it's been a big improvement.

I got the cure man. Uninstall your Google maps update. Then disable the auto update for it. Then uninstall and reinstalled android auto. Then reconnect to car and do not update the Google maps. I got a s24 plus and just went thru this issue.

It's linked to the Google maps update uninstall Google maps update and disable auto update. Reinstall the android auto n don't update maps n reconnect to car.

I tried something today seems to have worked. Goto your android setting. Goto device care. Goto the memory. Disable that stupid ram plus virtual memory.

Try disabling your ram plus. Settings/device care/memory then disable ram plus so fat it's worked for me.

I have a pixel 5A and it started doing the same thing as yours about a month ago. All audio, whether from streaming music apps or directions on Google Maps or waze, stutters. And the maps themselves move in a herky-jerky motion. It's kind of like all of Android auto is stuttering, you know? Is yours the same? I was out of town for 11 days and didn't know if something had changed with my phone or Android auto or what. Worked perfectly until the night I got back. Now it does this constantly. I've tried everything. I have uninstalled Google Maps updates and cleared every cache and data there and in Android auto. I've uninstalled Android auto, reinstalled it etc etc etc. There was an Android system software update today and Android auto update today and was very hopeful, but no changes. Have you found anything that has worked? I keep searching all the forums and there's nothing listed I haven't already tried.

Im also facing this stupid issued and i had captured why this happen. I had tried turn off hotspot 2.0, location wifi scanning, virtual ram , installed previous android version and etc. All didnt work, i found the stuttering happen because of wifi tx data lost.

When stuttering happen the tx success will drop and tx lost will rise. It was all about wifi connection issues, but i didnt found any method to overcome this.
