Thank you for this suggestion, I've gotten to working! Have the Asus GT-BE98 Pro. I tried connecting my s24 Ultra to the 6 Ghz networks set up with their own SSID, no dice. I tried using SmartConnect to combine all the bands into the same SSID, no dice. Tried what you suggested, just binding the 5Ghz and 6Ghz bands and indeed it both stays connected for extended periods to the 6Ghz band and doesn't keep loosing internet connectivity. Not really sure why connecting to the 6 Ghz band directly was a fail with both frequent internet connectivity and local WiFi drops. But I'll take the win. Thank you so much for your post!

I have the same issue with a Samsung S23+ when connecting to a WiFi 6E network (so on 6GHz spectrum) - the phone will successfully connect to the WiFi 6E network and get an IP address but Internet does not work. When I disable the 6GHz band and have only 2.4GHz and 5GHz running on the router then all is fine. Router is an ASUS ET8 updated with latest firmware and the Samsung S23+ is updated to latest One UI version 6.1 and Android version 14 (security patch level of August 1, 2024). Other devices (non-Samsung) connect without any issue.

I just did a normal upgrade (no factory reset or anything) of my S23+ to One UI version 7.0 and Android version 15 and WiFi 6E works great now finally! 👍
