From the beginning my phone has some random wifi issues, I am at the point that I am sure this is not related to the network itself, since I tried two different wifi-routers and all their settings. And I also saw the issue once at the office, where a co-worker also with an S23 does not have these issues.
The issues are:
- random disconnects followed by a reconnect within 3-4 seconds. My connection can last an hour, but sometimes it disconnects after two 2 minutes.
- when entering a known wifi network and you expect it would switch from LTE/4g/5g to wifi, it does not. I go to the wifi connection page and there is just a text saying "enabling wifi" or "scanning for networks" - I waited as long as 15 minutes and does not come up with any networks, the phone's wifi just seems to hang in a sleep mode. When I manually turn wifi off and on again on my phone, it immediatly connects and shows the list of networks.
I am now testing with a clean factory-reset phone, where I just configured the wifi network, no other software or configuration. The problem is, it is not always 100% reproducable.
When I go to the shop, trying to convince them it is a hardware problem. They connect my phone to the shops wifi and claim it works fine.
So, for now they refused to take it back.... Anyone out there with the same problem or any suggestions?
I will probably just go back to the shop again and hope there is another person at the desk, that just believes me on my word?

Hi @TomVD1 Welcome to the Samsung Community Realise you have gone through a fair bit of Troubleshooting but some other steps you could try.
Firstly you could Resetting the Network connections, Settings-General-Reset-Reset Wifi and Bluetooth settings.
If that does not sort it, Go to Settings- Connections - Wi-Fi - Tap the cog symbol to the right of your router - Forget . This is the bottom right on the list. Toggle your Wi-Fi off and on again - Select your router from the list of available connections, and run through all the connection steps.
Thereafter go to Settings - Connections - Wi-Fi - Tap the cog next to your router, under view More select the MAC Address Type and set this to Phone MAC. If the issue persists, I would suggest pressing the Volume Down and Power buttons together for around 10 seconds until the phone restarts, the reason being that this will refresh the software and address any issues that might be causing problems. An idea also to reboot the router if still issues.
You could try Safe Mode and keep it in this Mode for at least 2 hours, https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-to-start-my-galaxy-device-in-safe-mode/ if the issue is not present in Safe Mode would pinpoint recent third party apps which have been installed.
if no resolution Could liase further with shop or send an Error Report-via Samsung Members Go to Support-Send Feedback -Networking/Wifi. Describe the issue and ensure that systems logs are attached (option should be ticked).
I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

Thanks for the replies guys, I tried the wipe cache from recovery mode already (since I indeed used smart switch and watch a youtube giving this as a tip). But this did not help.
Also, as I said, I am now testing the device after a clean factory reset (and I have gone back to my good old A52s which has no wifi connection issues at all), to reset all settings and rule out third party apps.
Setting the mac adress type to phone mac also did not help. (also setting the DNS settings to a fixed IP or disabling intelligent wifi things did not help).

I am exactly having the same problem. Did you find anything useful to recover the problem?
