Long press on lock screen shows button 'Settings' which takes me to the widgets page

Please remove your phone number from the screenshot

So you should be able to long press on that screen and it will change to edit mode. You should then be able to tap on the clock and you'll be presented with the other clock styles

See screenshot and ensure that setting is toggled on. You should now be able to get to edit mode from lock screen1712057956150_1712057956145_0.jpg

That's odd and is not what is expected. Are you using a stock device? Are you using any 3rd party software like Good Lock or a non stock loader.

After any update it is recommended you wipe the cache partition

Ensure you plug into a working device or pc/laptop

All that happens up to the point of tapping on the clock - nothing happens

Presume you mean tapping on this clock shows other clock options. It's a stock S23 Ultra bought direct from Samsung UK. No custom loaders etc.1712059080832.jpg

No, that's something else entirely. As you've already shown that your clock appears on the lock screen it should then be a simple case of long pressing the screen and tapping on the clock as per my screenshots. If this is not the case then that is not as expected. As you have already confirmed your device is stock then please perform a cache partition wipe as advised in seperate reply.

Can I just add also that there was a recent update to AOD via the Samsung Store. Please ensure you go to the store and check for updates to the AOD.

Ok, solved. As I was using a video wallpaper, I didn't want to specifically change the wallpaper (still have the clip in my gallery thankfully) Turns out you have to change the wallpaper to have the option of changing the clock face. I did clear the cache partition (no apparent effect)

That's great news. Although i also use a video wallpaper and can still get to edit mode as expected. Anyway, glad you got there and don't worry the cache wipe won't do any harm and will help keep your device fresh and healthy.
