One UI 6.1: Display colors pale, cold and unsaturated

Hi all,

after updating my S23+ to One UI 6.1 the display colors are very pale, cold and unsaturated.

Display apperance in the apps, home screen, pictures and everywhere else looks like the cheapest phone ever had. 

Hope this will be fixed soon. I will not do a hard reset or whatever nonsense to get the original beautiful colors back..

You can try wiping phone cache and I'm assuming screen mode is set to vivid

The screen mode is set to natural as it was before. Setting it to living colors increases the color brightness but does not fix the problem an is unconfortable for the eyes when looking at it for longer times.

I'm having the same issue.  On AOD the clock keeps changing colors and I can't read it.  What good is AOD if you can't see it!!!

Same issue here on my S23+. The screen looks so washed out it's awful. What have they changed in the latest One UI that has caused this, and how do we revert it? If anyone finds out, please post the solution here. The AOD colour changing to seemingly adopt the dominant colour in the background isn't helpful either. Really disappointed with this update.

Hi, Just updated my s23+ today and same problem. Lock screen en background screen washed out colors, aswel as app icons on home screen. Hope they fix this soon.

Updated my S23+ today also. I can barely see the clock on lock screen! Been through every setting to try and rectify but no joy. Anyone out there with info please? Tia

My lock screen clock changed to blue, but all my colours seem more vibrant .
Very weird I'm having the opposite experience to you.

Is your screen mode set to natural or vivid?
