Hello, my friend mentioned that when I send text messages, my mobile number that appears is the wrong number, so they have no idea, the message is from me
I moved my mobile number from Vodafone, and my sim card is from Sky, and everything else has, gives out the right mobile number just not text messages
Can anyone help ?
Thanks
Fiona

You need to go to your messages settings and clear out the data (not cache). When you reopen the messages app it will ask you to set up RCS again and this time it will ask to verify your number.
Long press the messages icon and tap the (i) in the top right of the pop up box. Scroll down to Storage and tap, then tap clear data (at the very bottom left). You will get a pop up warning about losing the data of that app but they will sync back after signing back in to your google account. You can back up your messages as well, just in case.

Ask your network to process a sim swap from your current Sim Card to a Blank Sim Card to get rid of the temporary number that was assigned to the Sky sim @Fiona81641
Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.
The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "
