My backup failed whilst my S23 ultra was trying to update to UI 8

My S23 Ultra got stuck in a reboot loop whilst it was trying to update to UI8 and because of this, the backup it was trying to do failed. My provider issued me with a new phone phone but not I cannot restore things like photos or whatsapp messages and media because it broke mid update/backup. Is there any way I can restore from a previous backup before this last 1 that failed?

Where was it backed up to?
You should be able to sign into the account on the new device and download the backup.
I can give you more specific instructions if you'll share more details.

it was backing up onto my google acct. Because the backup had started it backed up some stuff but not all and apparently once it starts it overrides the last backup hence I have partial backup but not things like my gallery. Is there any way to retrieve that last full backup?
