S23 ultra - GPS issues with Google Maps

Is there going to be a fix for gps issues with Google Maps anytime soon?

I have problems with mine as well, went to samsung shop they said to change the sim. I did that same problem, went back to them next day and they said yo wait for another 5 days so the phone gather some information I don't know what he ment. And if the problem will not solved they said to come back after 5 days and they will replace the phone or give me a refund

I am having all kinds of GPS issues as well. I tried doing pretty much everything available online, and I even called Samsung help but all of it to no avail. Samsung help don't seem to have any answers either; they tell you to follow through all the steps available online. It's very frustrating for people like me who use the GPS for daily work. If this issue is not solved in a timely manner, this is my last Samsung device. I encourage all of those who are having the same issues to report this issue in writing by emailing Samsung.

Hi Guys, I have same problem. I am delivery driver and after the 3rd party application opened the google maps randomly loose the GPS signal. The GPS quick turn off and then turn back on fix the map, but its not solution, in addition dangerous to do in driving.

My phone is 512gb 12gb lime color. S23 ultra

Frustrating that I payed £1400 for a phone and they put a weak quality gps chip in.

IMO software issue, I've been waiting couple of minutes for GPS fix (monitored via GPS Status app) - nothing. I've killed the app -> Location toggle off -> Location toggle on -> open the app again, and after 10-15 sec I've got a solid fix (26 fix/46 sat.).

No Problems with GPS on my S23+, seems better than my old S22

Hey guys , I hope this helps , new s23 ultimate user here. 

Open Google maps , go to the app info thing. Select the battery use to unrestricted  seems to help!

Taking off the wifi and Bluetooth accuracy assist also seemed to help it be more fluid (albeit it keeps showing me as driving on an angle but that's a small price to pay)

Hiya I have had the same problem but I just thought it was just Google maps but I tried waze that was the same and one I use when driving my truck all three come up and say GPS Lost so I think there may be a software error in the GPS system I have also got a problem taking pictures at night it won't focus in some times

Hi. I have exactly same issue in same circumstances. Have you manege to fix it. 

On mine GPS signal just works after disabling and enabling Location. 

I've never had this issue on my S20.
