I recently bought a S23 Ultra from the website, less than a week ago. I wanted to set up the google wallet contactless payment.
However, it gives an error, "Couldn't finish setting up pay contactless, something went wrong while setting up your card. Try again, or add another card".
I added the same card to my friends S23 ultra and the contactless was set up without any issue.
I have checked that all the softwares are up to date and factory reset my phone. I get the same error.
I have called the bank and they said there are not issue from their end.
The difference from my friends S23 ultra is he got it from a network provider, (EE UK) and mine was purchased directly from Samsung.
Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, I have checked everything are up to date.

I’m having the same problem. And seem to not find an answer. I’ve factory reset. Uninstall everything possible

I had the same issue, 2 cards adding and not one worked.
The solution from online tech support was to change language from preferred (english) to our national (slovene).
After changing the system language and restart, I was able to add cards.
WTF
