One UI 6 with Android 14: A downgrade on my 4 months old S23 Ultra

I was doing all good with this device with one UI 5. 

I was checking different videos on one UI 6 and was really excited about the update.

But now, I would say that it's become a nightmare for me. I am never a heavy user of the phone. 

Below are a few listed issues that I noticed so far:

1. Dramatic fall on battery 

2. Network issues (sometimes mobile data network goes blind even if my '4g/5g' sign is shown on the notification panel. 

3. SOT checking has become a task for analytic specialists. Previously, it was easy to check my usage/SOT based on the last 100% of the charge. But now, Oh My God! I am not a specialist to understand these graphs. And it has become too complex to understand. 

4. I use to switch between different keyboards. Previously, there was an option on the notification panel to change the default keyboard. Now, it's gone. 

5. I have customised the timing for 'Eye comfort shield' which is set to turn on and off on specific time. Now, it doesn't work. Though it's still like the earlier ui version, I need to do it manually. 

6. A few apps started behaving weird. They don't work properly until I close them and start it again.

7. A big bug with 'recent task manager' option. Sometimes, it's like list, sometimes grid view. I put it on 'grid view', but mostly, it's list. 

If anyone with such issues, please do suggest me some ways to get rid of them.

Are you on the official release or the beta version the only thing you can do is clear the cache on your phone or downgrade back to one ui 5.1

Yeah it's still quite buggy for me too. One thing I've noticed is that when I use a different S Pen like from my Tab S9 Ultra pressing the button doesn't open the air commands menu. Home Up customisations such as Mini Mode, Loop Page and the number of Home Screen favourites (I pick 9) regularly fail so I need to go back into the app and reset them. Using navigation to exit an app to the home screen seems to take more effort, hard to explain what I actually mean by that. When the keyboard is open in an app and I swipe down for to access the notification or the quick panel, the button to collapse the keyboard remains and interferes with the full screen quick panel in an annoying way. Lots more little things that I can't think of right now. But there's loads of stuff that I really like, I wouldn't want to go back to One UI 5. Just hoping it comes to the Tablets soon enough but minus the bugs.

It's the official one. How do I clear the cache of whole device at once?

I don't even want to. It's one of few features to buy such premium device is to getting regular updates.

Any network issues? Like call drop or calls not connecting?

Rarely phone at all these days due to living in a black spot for signal but I did phone using WiFi calling over EE 2 days ago to phone in an order for work and everything seemed to be ok.

I use vodafone. However, I always keep on Wifi Calling feature. But in recent days, after the update to UI 6, that network issue seems quite noticeable

Actually I just checked and it was my Lebara SIM that made the call. I have Dual SIM and switch them sometimes. I believe Lebara uses the Vodafone network.
