NFC Mobile Payment doesn't work after update

I've been using mobile payment with NFC on my Samsung S23 Ultra since I got the phone, always worked great. Today after the latest security update(January 2024) it stopped working, yesterday it was working fine.

I use my bank's mobile app for this(ING).

Is there a solution?

Hey there

Clear cache in Google wallet first. Then restart your device.

Should fix it's a cache issue

If that doesn't work, do the same as above but also clear data. Then restart the device.

Just toggle the NFC in settings off then toggle it back on it should then work. It happens on my S22ultra so I just reset it in settings.

So same process with your banking app.

If that doesn't resolve it, likely to be a banking issue.

@Russomarcelo: To enable NFC, please swipe up from your Home screen and head to Settings (cog symbol) > Connections > NFC and contactless payments > On > Contactless payments > Choose your default payment service e.g. Samsung Pay/Wallet > Pay with currently open app > On.

Does not work. I can not to enable NFC. I tap to on, 2 seconds later it changes to off.
