S23 plus Running hot and battery drain after update

Since I update the software to version 6.0 three days ago, my battery is barely lasting a day and the phone is always warm to hot even when not using the phone.

Battery used to never get below 30% after a full day of use, now its 30% after 6 hours!

Try Wiping the Partition Cashe on the phone
Wiping the Partition Cashe clears out a lot of old or corrupted information that can cause issues

Follow the steps below. You must follow every step and you should be done in about a minute

Turn off your phone.

Connect your phone with a USB cable
to PC or another Samsung mobile

You will see the charging icon on your screen.
Wait till it shows charging with battery percentage.

Next, press and hold the Volume up and Side key simultaneously.
You can press the volume up button just before the Side key.
The Samsung Logo followed by
Samsung Galaxy appears on the
screen.

At this point, release the keys
Phone will boot into Android Recovery mode

In Android recovery mode, using Volume keys, choose "Wipe Cache
Partition" .
Use the power button to accept that.
You will then see its cleared.

You can also go into repair apps before going into rebooting

Then the top option, reboot phone.
Press the power button to reboot the phone and then sign in normally

Failing this then you will need to look into what is running on the phone that's causing the issue
Usually have a good idea looking in battery and device care

Unfortunately not fixed yet and no unusual app activity causing significant drain. Phone is also running a lot hotter last couple of days, uncomfortable to keep phone in pocket!

Did you find a solution for this? I got the exact same problem 3 days ago, havent done anything prior to this. No new apps or change any settings. Phone suddenly start to drain the battery really fast. Like 6-8 hours from full to empty not using the phone, and it runs really hot all the time. 

I tried wiping the cache and no difference!

Nope, still not fixed, seems to now be ok on wifi but as soon as i'm out the house it starts running hot, and I'm not using any new apps, it's just since the update last week. I've submitted numerous phone logs over the last few days to samsung and just have the generic response of we've passed jt on to the experts. I hope a new software update comes soon.
