S23+ notifications not appearing on locked screen.

Hi, just got new S23+ and zero notifications come thrrough on blackscreen, only when tapping the screen, its possible to see them. Telegram, Messenger, GMail, nothing works. It vibrates, but NOTHING COMES ON THE SCREEN THAT I COULD SEE.

I have tried absolutely every trick I have found on the internet except factory reset, as setup with Smart Switch and re-loogging into most apps took me like 5 hours anyway. 

Any ideas, how to get help?

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing problems getting your notifications showing as expected on your lock screen. I'd recommend having a look at the tips suggested in the guide below (courtesy of our friends at Samsung US):

As I said, I have tried everything from this website. the thing is my black screen DOES NOT light up and show me any notification. when I doubletap or when I push side button then i see those. But I have not found a way to make them appear as the come

Ah, I see, @Richey66. I wasn't aware you'd used that particular source. I do apologise. 

Please can you let me know which phone you were using before getting the S23+ and, if it was a Samsung phone, were you seeing the notifications on your lock screen (while the screen was off)?

Yes, previous was Galaxy Note 10+ and yes it worked fine.

Do you just need to set always on display to be "always on?"
I think by default it's set to "tap to show"

Did it. Does not help. I did "reset all settings" and now it kinda works...not really...intermittently it shows some notifications, but not most of them. And only for few seconds up in the screen and it goes off faster than I have time to check them...again tried all the tricks to make them last longer and none of them helps...

so basically I have unusable S23+ with one UI 5.1...even my IT specialist raised his hands and recommended clean install...which would take another 5-6 hours of my life...better to return the phone i guess.

@Richey66, would it be possible to upload a screenshot of the options you are seeing under Lock screen notifications, please?

To access this, please go to Settings > Notifications > Lock screen notifications.

I'm very confident that we'll help you get your notifications showing as expected. 👍

As I said several notifications like from example CNBC are not coming in the new phone at all, although everything is set to...

I'm having then same issue on the S23 Ultra. Phone makes notification noise but screen doesn't light up unless i wake it up manually.
