Hi everyone, after upgrading to One UI 7 I am facing severe issues with my signal/reception in one of my two Sims, although I had no issue before.
I have practically no signal and this is very frustrating as I cannot communicate with my home country.
It seems that this is becoming a common issue, at least for S23, as there is already a relevant thread in reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/oneui/comments/1kgspys/mobile_network_performance_after_one_ui_7/
Any thoughts on that?
Many thanks!

I was literally blaming my network provider for poor reception, that is until I put my Sim in my dad's phone(he also uses an S23 Ultra, albeit still on One UI 6), that's when I realized that the problem was my phone. I dunno how an update ruins network connectivity.

Exact same issue with my A55 which upgraded yesterday to One UI7. This is absolutely unbelievable how many samsung users report this all over the world.
After upgrading reboot, I had to trick sim setting, re-initialize them, disable 2G connections, many things found everywhere on Internet and it still is not working correctly. Lost all bars. SIM often switch to "No Service". I have 2 SIMS from 2 different providers: Both suffer same problem.
I am really thinking of buying a correct new phone (so, not Samsung), and throwing this one away on e-bay. And I if do it (i.e. if problem is not solved very quick) I will consider Samsung is responsible for my waste of money.

I installed the June patch that was released this week on my S23 Ultra, and it still didn't fix the issue. I wonder if Samsung just doesn't care to fix it

I also have the same problems with connection in my new s25 ultra.
Please do not write about trivial methods such as resetting settings, replacing the SIM card with the operator, etc.
The problem is global and it is connected with One UI 7, although I initially thought that the problem was in my S25 Ultra

I'll tell you how - incompetent programmers put in charge of programming and pushing out new patches. I've had this issue since right after the March patch and, thinking subsequent patches might fix issue, include the at the time soon to be release One UI 7 "upgrade", I waited until June to finally get in touch with Samsung through the Members app. As expected "support" was completely useless, taking a week, and a second contact to get an actual reply. When support through the app didn't get anywhere I called them and as expected deep-east India tried blaming my service provider (Verizon). Now normally I would be all gungho for jumping all over blaming Verizon with their track record, but that never made sense based on when this started. Round back to my original comment about incompetent programmers, and to elaborate is that if you are like me, and I bet many of us here, we grew up with custom roms and dealing with patching cellular radios manually in the early days. Long story short, this is a cellular radio issue, but the people in charge of them either don't get sent the messages from deep-east India support or the programmers are too stupid to read the code.

But what's fascinating is that the issue isn't on every phone. I dunno if location matters, but given that not everyone is affected, SAMSUNG might not take this seriously

It may not be on every single phone, but I'd bet there are by far enough users affected that this could be a class action lawsuit.

I have been an avoid Samsung user since the Note2, but it is really getting on my nerves. The support I am getting through the members app would be done better with an ai from pre 2000's.
Nobody want to admit something is off or even guide you in the right direction of where it can be fixed.

I appreciate you confirming this isn't a network specific issue, as I was considering possibly getting a Tmobile plan for a month to test it out. Unfortunately, over here in the US, we really only have 2 main options on Android - the other being the Pixel series, which surprise surprise, also has widespread issues, but theirs is with Wifi disconnecting.
