One ui 6.1

After happily giving my S24+ exynos trash back a few weeks ago, I noticed the AOD notifications were not colourful anymore and couldn't be changed to colour. Just a dull and boring white. I hated it. Anyways, purchased a lovely S23 ultra for dirt cheap and I read somewhere that when the S23 models get the one ui 6.1 upgrade, they too will have the same. Could anyone clarify if this is this true please?

Listen, both are great devices, both are best in the market but, someone is not going to let go of an amazing S23 ultra for minimal upgrade easily as we both know. They are basically the same phones, give or take...

I agree, on the face of it both are practically the same. But I traded mine in, not because it was bad, but I did like what the S24 Ultra had to bring. Flat screen, faster chip, AI and some great trade in offers. I never made claims it was a great value proposition, but it's the newest and most up to date. To top it off it has 7 years OS support.

That's fine mate, others did the same. Some of those people rate the upgrade highly and some don't and wish they'd kept their S23 ultra. I like many others again feel it's not a necessary upgrade as not much of a wow factor. That's just mine and others opinions lol.. 7 years support is cool especially for resale value and peace of mind for a lot of people. For me, 2/3 years is probably max for me until I upgrade again so not fussed with 7 years but also happy with the S23's 5 years support..

I still have phones over 8 years old, so 7 years OS support is incredible.

I recently did the update and now I cant recall what it used to look like but I know for sure it's different now and I hate it! 😭😭 the AOD is has a bolder clock and the notifications are all crammed up, bold white.. not spread out like they used to be and not coloured!!!

You can customise the AOD using the GoodLock app! If you've not yet installed this, head over to the Galaxy Store > Search for GoodLock > Install. Once installed, head into the app > ClockFace > Always On Display > Choose your preferred clock > Tap the tick icon once you've made your selection!

All I want is how it was before this update and I had it on default, so why has the AOD clock become bolder if they use the same default font?? 🤔🤔
