One Ui 6.1 navigation Bar

Samsung S23 Ultra updated today and I am seriously irritated with this update. First thing I noticed my navigation bar, I had the option of swipe or buttons. I have always used swipe for navigation and my recent apps were on the right and my back to the left with home being center. You used to be able to choose left or right for either. Now it is incredibly difficult to get to my recently used apps. Everytime I used the navigation bar it sends me to the home screen. If I wanted to go to the home screen I'd swipe in the middle. Everywhere does it now. Can't go back a page or to recent apps it all sends me home. There's an annoying period where you have to hold to get recent apps to show up. This is stupid and inefficient. Secondly it keeps opening apps up when I'm trying to scroll through my pages of apps that I'm not selecting just trying to turn the page and it's not responding correctly just opening apps. Very disappointed so far and will continue to notice things I hate about this update throughout the day. Wish they would revert the update.

Having same issue last update is total fail...

Also button for smiles also moved to right side and you have new button which is totaly not needed there... very dissapointed .... thinking to switch to another brand now....

Ok how to download or whats the current name of the app ? On the galaxy store no app "good lock".. just different ones from good lock labs.... im getting very frustrated now that i have to spend time for this bull*hit just to make my phone working lile it was few days ago... Samsung you hired newguy or what the heck happened ?? Huuge fail...

It truly sucks so bad- I hope they would give us the freedom to choose between the new styles and the old style of navigation bar. You can't just take something like that away after so many years of my fi gers getting used to that. Things like this make me think about leaving samsung behind and jon the Apple cult

Freaking samsung be doing too much frustrating stuff... makes me wanna go to apple for a while so I don't have to be worried about random chnages

I'm so goddamn irritated that I can no longer have 3 separate navigation bar swipe bars for back, home and tab viewing. Now I have to go back to having the buttons instead of swiping which is a huge adjustment considering I used my phone almost 24 7 for work and university. The navigation bar swipe feature it has now is basically how an IPhone works - might as well go buy one at this point. It's been downhill for samsung since they removed the headphone jack (also just like an iPhone). 

I hope they fix it

There is a work around using Good Lock app for now, I have posted the steps above 👍

I contacted Samsung support and they explained how to use this new navigation bar to change between recent apps and to go back. Actually made me appreciate the galaxy store more! Never used it before but it seems like it might have some really useful stuff like this!

Agree this is frustrating to change navigation setting like this, without proposing to keep it. It is a simple option, please BRING IT BACK!
